Maurice Cox is the Director of Planning and Development for the City of Detroit, as well as a nationally acclaimed leader of the public interest design movement. In his current role, Cox is positioning design as a tool to re-imagine post-bankruptcy Detroit as a laboratory for urban regeneration.
