This proto-formal ‘working’ drawing brings into focus several ideas including the metaphorical potential of varied mythological accounts, including stories of Dionysus, Daedalus, and the rhetorical potential of the nine Greek muses. Other ideas being visualized, and spatialized include the aesthetic, scientific and historic developments surrounding artifacts and cultural commodities; conditions of vision and the curatorial roles of the museum; the sense of incomplete familiarity; and the ways in which the intellectual, curatorial, and spatial frameworks we construct qualify the ways in which we culturally reflect upon the experience of collections.
